Kitten info

A Maine Coon cat can live between 16 and 20 years old. This means that you will bond for a long time. If you plan to buy the cat only as a playmate for your children, keep in mind that as children grow up, they may lose interest in the animal and the job may stay with you. After a short time, the cute kitten also becomes an adult animal that takes up more space and shows a slightly different being. A pet is always a limitation, so you should clarify in advance who can take care of the cat when you go on vacation. Even a short weekend trip means you need to know that your cat is being treated. Even when you are at home, you need time for your pet. Aside from the time you should spend playing with your cat, you need time to take care of the cat: regular hairdo, occasional baths and possibly claw care. Please do not forget the time required to clean the sleeping area and the feeding area, feeding and visiting the veterinarian. We hope you don't leave them alone all day as the Maine Coon doesn't like to be alone for long. If you have a balcony or a garden it will be necessary to secure them, to avoid accidents, falls or thefts (we are happy to assist you with any advice on this).
