About us
My name is Diana and I have a small Maine Coon cattery in Ticino, Switzerland. I started my Maine Coon cattery in 2019. Since 2020 I have requested my personal cattery registration from TICA and CFF. I live in Bellinzona and have been surrounded by cats for over 20 years. Even as a child my love for cats was great.
They are perfect companions for life. They look impressive but are the sweetest creatures imaginable. Social, kind and extremely funny!
In 2018 I got the first Maine Coons and the love for this breed was immediately born.
After doing my homework and studying the breed in depth, it was immediately clear what kind of breeding I want to be and what kind I definitely don't want to be. Everything I do, I try to do it very conscientiously, with a long-term vision and with a lot of love. I try to raise cats as responsible as possible, with all my heart, because my cats are part of my family. Their well-being comes first and foremost at all times.
For this reason I decided to undertake some training in 2021. The first training is the Master Feline Breeder organized by ANFI association that I have successfully completed in 2021. The second training is the three-year school (2021-2023) of Naturopathy for animal welfare organized by the Fauno Institute. The program of this training is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary training course, developed according to the criteria established by the main international training schools. Issues concerning the dog, cat and horse are covered. The Naturopath of animal welfare is a professional operator specialized in Bio-natural disciplines that uses complementary techniques of therapy to support the psycho-physical balance and well-being of animal species, providing the body with what it needs to restore the lost balance. And the third training undertaken in 2021 and concluded in 2022 is the specialization in flower essences (Bach Flowers, Australian Flowers and Californian Flowers) always through the Fauno Institute.
For this reason I decided to undertake two trainings in 2021. The first training is the Feline Breeder Master organized by the ANFI association which will last from March 2021 to July 2021. And the second training is the three-year school (2021-2023) of Animal Naturopathy organized by the Fauno Institute.
Since 2020 I have been collaborating with some breeders by translating and publishing texts about the Maine Coon world on Maine Coon Education. I also collaborate with Pawpeds for registering the results of HCM scans.
Since 2019 I am a member of ICW eV and since 2020 of CFF Cat Fancier's Federation and TICA. I have my cattery registration in both associations (CFF and TICA).
